Ina Garten, an American author of cookery books and Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began to write policies and nuclear energy papers in the White House. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation of the job, but quickly lost interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. Prior to selling the company, she spent more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. Numerous magazines and cookbooks followed. The Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking items and even containers. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never attended a cooking school, nor been in a kitchen. Her name is associated with her casual way of cooking and entertaining. The most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
