Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and song writer. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She is primarily the performer. Since she was 9 years of age, she was exploring music. At the age 12, she took serious enough about music to start professional training. When she was 13 when she began writing her own songs. Her first cover album didn't come out until fourteen years later. From that moment on she's never been back. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. To keep her heritage alive she's learning Spanish. Also, she writes songs based on the Spanish language. She recorded the Spanish version of a track entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X-Factor after she submitted an YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions of "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated at the fifth week of live shows.
